The Devine laboratory photo gallery

2007





Emily Barbieri, Andrea Naccarato, and Jennifer Wilkinson each completed senior thesis projects in the Devine lab (2007), and all three are graduating with honours from the University Scholars program.  These outstanding students conducted research on neurochemical regulation of stress ressponses  (Barbieri), behavioral disregulation after social defeat stress (Naccarato), and characteristics that underlie individual differences in vulnerability for self-injurious behaviour (Wilkinson).  All three projects will be published in the June 2007 issue of the Journal of Undergraduate Research.  Emily will start the veterinary medicine program at the University of Washington in fall, 2007.  Andee will work and study in wildlife conservation and research for a year before starting graduate studies in Zoology, and Jenny will start medical school at UF in fall 2007.
