Psychology Department's On-Line Data Collection(Survey) Software

Important key points.
Naming your surveys. Please put your name at the beginning of title for each survey. Exampe Jones - Sleep Study.  Otherwise we will not be able to find your survey if you need help. Our list shows the titles, but not the owners.

Use a strong password. Anybody who hacking using your account can delete all of your work.

When your data collection is active, backup your data often. Make a backup copy of your survey.

Be very careful deleting surveys or data.  Once deleted or cleared, it is gone forever.

Exporting data. While you are designing your survey take the time to enter some data, then export it out to see if you get the results in a form you can analyze.  If you use matrix items you may want to use the SPSS export format. Even if you are not using SPSS.

Please take the time to maintain your surveys.  If you are no longer using the survey, please delete it. The more surveys the system has the slower it will operate.  We need everyone using the system to take the responsibility of maintaining their site.
