Florida Autism Program (UFAP); conducting functional analyses and treatment evaluations;
preparing and implementing research protocols; supervising undergraduate laboratory
students and volunteers
Clinical Experience
Behavior Data Specialist/Clinical Specialist I, The Kennedy Krieger Institute, Baltimore, MD.
Jan. 2002 - July 2003. Responsibilities included: conducting functional analyses of severe
behaviors; assisting in the design of function-based treatment programs; participating in
interdisciplinary meetings; preparing and presenting case progress presentations to peers;
assisting in the development and implementation of research projects; supervising program
implementation by direct care staff.
Aide. Idylwild and Lawton Chiles Elementary Schools. Gainesville, FL. Feb. 2001 - Dec. 2001.
Responsibilities included: implementing individualized teaching programs for a young girl
diagnosed with autism; attending IEP meetings; assisting the district’s behavior analyst in
developing and implementing behavioral interventions for the classroom; assisting with other
students’ problem behaviors.
