Clinical & Research Experience
Summer 2005 - Present: Sidney Lanier Center, Gainesville, FL. My duties include
conducting functional analyses, designing and implementing treatments, making
behavioral recommendations to parents and staff, presenting data to teachers and other
school staff, designing and conducting research protocols, and supervising
undergraduate lab assistants. As of Fall semester, 2006, I am the site

Spring 2004: Florida Center for Self-Injury, University of Florida Autism Program,
Gainesville, FL. My duties included conducting functional analyses, designing and
implementing treatments, and parent training. (Supervisor: Brian A. Iwata)
Fall 2003 - Spring 2005: Association for Retarded Citizens, Gainesville, FL. My duties
included conducting research at a workshop for individuals with developmental
disabilities; supervision of undergraduate students, developing and conducting applied
behavior analytic research protocols, conducting training for new hires, maintaining a
clinical caseload, updating Behavior Intervention Plans, conducting staff monitoring
and consumer oversight for multiple group homes. (Supervisor: Brian A. Iwata)

Spring 2004-Spring 2005 Psychology Department, University of Florida. Teaching
assistant, Laboratory in Applied Behavior Analysis (Instructor: Brian A. Iwata)
Summer 2002 - Summer 2003 Sussex Elementary Consortium, Early Intervention Pre-
School: Duties included teaching children with Autism at the Pre-K level, designing and
implementing Individual Education Programs, collecting and maintaining data on
behaviors to evaluate the efficacy of IEP programs on skill acquisition and maintenance
as well as severe problem behaviors, participation in in-service training and Picture
Exchange Communication System Training, supervision of teaching assistants and
maintaining relationships with parents and specialists.
Spring 2002 Lewes Middle School, Sussex Consortium Classroom: Duties included
teaching children with Autism at the Middle School level, implementing Individual
Education Programs, collecting and maintaining data on behaviors to evaluate the
efficacy of IEP programs, and preparing students for participation in state-wide
achievement testing programs.
Fall 2001-Spring 2002 Cape Henlopen High School: Duties included teaching a World
History course to a class to students at a variety of skill levels, behavioral needs and
developmental disabilities, including Autism.
