While our understanding of the complexity of the peripheral physiological mechanisms underlying sensory function has in recent years grown, how these different processes are reflected at the perceptual level remains unclear.


Our laboratory employs psychophysical techniques in humans and behaviorally-trained mice to make the link between perception and underlying mechanism.

 

Human and Non-Human Psychophysics
