Thomas G. Pye Scholarship Fund

The Department of Psychology at the University of Florida is again pleased to sponsor the Thomas G. Pye Scholarship Fund for psychology majors. The Thomas G. Pye Scholarship Fund is a scholarship awarded annually (valued at approximately $2000) to an outstanding UF undergraduate psychology major who intends to pursue a career in mental health professions (as opposed to an academic or research career). The scholarship is designed to support undergraduate psychology students in their studies while at UF. Eligible students will have a 3.5 overall GPA or higher and will be juniors (3LS) or non-graduating seniors (4LS) in Fall 2012. Thus, current sophomores can also apply if they will be 3LS in the fall; you won't have an upper division GPA for the application, but that's ok. Graduating seniors are ineligible for this award.

The application deadline is February 15 by 5 PM, and applications must be submitted via email to Dr. Abrams at abrams@ufl.edu. For instructions and an application form, click here. You can type directly into this .pdf file and save your information.
